Summer internships
Our interns work on real-world projects that range from developing new products and managing corporate initiatives, to designing content for mobile applications and promoting the FedEx brand. Additionally, our interns connect with all levels of management through projects, our executive speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and tours. The net result is a very clear understanding of the breadth of FedEx Global Marketing.
When you hear the word “internship,” you may have visions of printing handouts, delivering interoffice mail, or making coffee, but that’s not how we operate. We hire only the best, brightest college graduate and undergraduate candidates for our Marketing and Communications Summer Internship program, and we expect a lot from them.

FedEx Global Marketing Foundations Program
You may have heard the career advice: Do what you love and you’ll always be happy. The FedEx Global Marketing Foundations rotational program was made specifically for undergraduate students and makes finding what you love easy. This 1–2 year program provides entry-level experience and exposure to the different organizations within FedEx Global Marketing via rotational project assignments and education plans.
If you’re accepted into the program, you can be domiciled in Memphis, TN. With management assistance, you will create a unique learning plan that supports your individual development goals while balancing business needs. Leadership and skill development opportunities are emphasized throughout the program, along with consistent coaching and mentoring.

Graduate student career path
Through the additional education and experience graduate level students obtain, they are eligible to start directly in a full-time role. Graduate students are eligible for more than just entry level positions based on their education and prior work experience. This experience, combined with their exposure to marketing, enables them to fully immerse themselves in a team, rather than going through the Global Marketing Foundations program to find their fit. Graduate students also have more flexibility with hybrid and remote work compared to undergraduate students.
